Testing Protocol
Aimsweb Plus is taken three times a year. You will refer to the assessment calendar shared with you at the beginning of the year to know when the assessments are given. If you would like extra technology support within the classroom for the day you give your assessment please schedule it with Amy Shannon at ashannon@sd60c.org.
The intervention team will send out a schedule as to when your class will come down to take a portion of the assessment with them.

***Always check your class roster in AimsWeb prior to testing. If a change needs to be made please contact Amy Shannon.
Administering the Assessments
- Log into Aimsweb Plus
- Navigate to the students tab
- Select your grade and battery
- Click View/Refresh
Unlocking the Test
- Select all students by clicking the top checkbox
- Click on the unlock/lock drop down box
- (It is in the Upper right hand corner!)
- Select unlock
- Assess ticket should turn from blue to green
Student Computers
- Chromebook log out completely
- Click on Apps and select TestNav
- Be sure to select Aimsweb Plus
- At the sign in screen be sure it says APS
- If it doesn’t, click on person in the top right corner of the screen, and click choose a different customer
- Sign in with the issued username and password
You will take Map Testing three times a year.

Map rosters are automatically adjusted according to roster in PowerSchool. If there is an error in PowerSchool contact Lori Ritter at lritter@sd60c.org. If there is not an error in PowerSchool but there is still an error in Map please contact Amy Shannon at ashannon@sd60c.org
Setting Up Your Testing Session
- Login
- Click manage test sessions
- Select test my class
- Students will populate down below
- Check to make sure everyone is listed (email Amy if they are not)
- Click save test session and give it an easy name to type in ex: asr (Amy Shannon Reading)

Kids testing will occur one time throughout the school year. Amy Shannon will load the class rosters into the website and testing will then start within the classroom.
