Saratoga School’s Attendance Policies

• Students are considered tardy if arriving to school after 7:55 AM but prior to 9:45 AM

• 2nd- 8th students arriving after 9:45 AM but prior to 11:30 AM is considered ½ day absent (they must be here by 11:30 AM to be eligible to participate in extracurricular events for that day)

• 2nd-8th students leaving prior to 1:30 PM (and not returning to school) are also considered ½ day absent

• K-1st students only need to be in attendance until 12:15 PM to count as a full day of attendance

• K-1st are considered ½ day AM if arriving after 9:45 AM but prior to 12:15 PM

• K-1st students leaving for the day after 12:15 PM they are considered full day

• Pre-K needs to be here the whole time otherwise they are considered absent
