Students may arrive at school starting at 7:40 am. After school, students not riding the bus should be picked up by 2:50 pm.
Any time school is dismissed early or canceled local radio stations will be notified (FM 95.7 or AM 1550). The announcement will also be made on our school Facebook page. Please make arrangements for your children in advance.
WE NEED YOU! We are in need of substitute teachers, classroom aides and lunch room workers here at Saratoga. If you or someone you know has either a bachelor’s degree(any area), associates degree or 60 hours and would consider being a substitute for us here at Saratoga, please contact our substitute coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to www.roe24.org and click on the substitute license link on the left for steps on how to become a substitute today. We currently are paying $90 a day for teacher subs and $85 for aides. Hours are from approximately 7:45-3:00 and you pick the days you want to be here. Lunch room hours are from approximately 10:45-12:45 and you can apply right at the school for this. We hope you or someone you know will be interested in joining our team!
In addition to substitutes in the building, WE ALSO NEED BUS DRIVERS AND BUS MONITORS! We will provide the training to get your CDL. Every bus route pays a minimum of $32.00 if you are a driver and $24.26 if you are a monitor. We hope you or someone you know will be interested in this! You can call 942-2128 regarding these transportation positions.
Online Registration is now open for the 19-20 School Year. Please note, the transportation form is online again this year. If you answer “yes” to transportation for your child, you must click on the link to complete the bus information form. After completing the form, you will return to the online portal and finish the online registration.
Fees may be paid at this time for 1st-8th grade students for the 19-20 School Year. Prior year registration fees need to be paid through the north office. If your student’s grade level is reflecting the 2018-2019 School Year, disregard and continue the registration process. Computers are available in the office for families to register.
New families to the Saratoga School District should register on Thursday, August 1, 2019, between the hours of 10-12 and 3-7. Please enter through door #18 at the north end of the building.
You must bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of residency before you will be able to register your child. The birth certificate must be from the county in which
the child was born; hospital certificates are not honored. Examples of accepted documentation for proof of residency are a monthly mortgage statement or 2018 tax bill if you own your home or a lease if you rent your home. If you have questions about proof of residency, please call the school office at 942-5970. After you provide the required documentation, you will sit at a computer and complete the online registration.
Minutes Challenge: Students vs. Teachers!
If students read more minutes than the teachers, Mr. Zweeres will receive pie in the face at an assembly. Top readers will hold the pies!
